FAQs
Fultondale's primary and urgent care provider
We are a walk-in only clinic for both primary care and urgent care. We strive to provide same-day access to all patients regardless of the reason for the visit. Seeing patients on a walk-in only basis ensures that every patient that walks into our office on any given day will be seen before the doors are closed for the day!
Yes. We see self-pay patients. The cost of each visit depends on what level of care is provided and whether any ancillary tests/treatments (X-rays, point-of-care testing, injections, etc) are provided during the visit. Self-pay patients are offered a 20% discount on their charge if the balance is paid in-full at the time of check-out.
No. If you have a co-pay, you will be required to pay the co-pay at the time of service.
No. We do not treat chronic pain with controlled substances. Recent studies indicated that non-opioid medications are as effective as opioid pain medications. If opioid pain medications are required to control your pain, we work with many board-certified pain management specialists on a referral basis.
Yes. We treat ADHD. However, we only treat ADHD patients who have been diagnosed by a mental health professional or on a continuation basis if ADHD treatment was initiated by a previous physician. We require documentation from a mental health provider demonstrating a diagnosis of ADHD before initiating therapy. If you are transferring care to our clinic from a previous physician, documentation in the form of medical records must be provided and reviewed by our providers before ADHD medication will be given. If you do not have the above-mentioned documentation, we can refer you to a mental health provider for ADHD testing.
Yes. We provide primary care services in addition to our urgent care services. We do not provide primary care services for Medicaid patients.
